Hmmm……..just another tech blog related to servers, networking & storage. Here I put my tech references. I often take classes on professional certifications (Cisco CCNA/CCNP R&S, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE & Linux SysAdmin) as well besides my full time job!
I am a CCIE on Data Center & Security (2xCCIE); besides CCIE I am also certified on – JNCIP-SEC, AWS Certified SA, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, CCNP R&S, VCP6.5-DCV, MCSE.

cool, keep it up bro.

Hi, I am a Unifi convert but wonder if you have ever got the USG working on Optus FTTN with phone service as the new modems no longer allow setting a static route and a DMZ does not help. I wanted the USG as a DHCP server and firewall. The old Netgear Modems allowed you to set a static route but the sagemco’s don’t allow this.
Thanks in advance

Hi Pete,
I don’t use the Optus landphone. Many people have made this working with no issue! You need the SIP telephony server details for this (server dns names based on your state NSW/VIC/QLD/…. and your SIP username/password). This is a good reference – https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2401743; google “BYO modem with Optus NBN” for even more details.
Hope this solve your phone issue.
Cheers/Jami
